    We will never forget the Louvin Brothers , I could listen to Charlie talk forever and where would their music have gone if Ira had lived a long life , i wonder how many more classic songs would have been written and sung. Charlie and Ira were the greatest , the benchmark in country harmony it just wont get any better, ever.

    This is like Mike Watt talking about D. Boon's death. People remember a small part of a person's career that had such great prominence, that the bulk of their latter career is eclipsed. I love Charlie a lot, and respect his solo work--but we all know he will be most prominent for his work with the late great Lonnie Loudermilk.
